The first page of your manuscript is often the make or break moment for your reader (and for the agent or editor perusing your work). We’ll break into small groups and a professional author. Each group will focus on the first page of everyone’s story in a round-robin critique. Each participant will read the first page while others read along and comment, then we’ll share constructive feedback to help you know what’s working and some suggestions to make your first-page sing. This event will meet via Zoom. Information will be sent out on how to share your first pages digitally.
