Ever felt your heart race as you cheered on your favorite team? Run so fast you felt you were flying? Or felt a surge of energy watching a moment of sports greatness?

Learn to express the emotions and sensations of that embodied experience on the page.

In this generative writing class with sports poet Sandra Marchetti, you’ll learn to write about movement and emotions in a way that connects with readers.

You’ll discover new literature from writers like Krystal Languell, Andrew Forbes, and Shakeia Taylor. We’ll do fun activities like visualization, video prompts, and even a little bit of moving around (with accommodations if you need them!). Plus, Sandra will share tips on where to send your writing.

Poets and prose writers of all genres are welcome.

Praise for Sandra Marchetti
