Opportunities for professional writers and writing instructors
We love authors and educators interested in offering classes and workshops focused on our pillars of craft, community, inspiration, and vocation.
We’re currently accepting proposals for January 2026 onwards
Four-hour half-day intensive workshops
In-person, online, or hybrid. Friday, Saturday, or Sunday afternoons.
Six-hour full-day intensive workshops
In-person at the Wordcrafters studio on Saturdays, 10 am to 5 pm.
2-4 day intensives/retreats
In-person at the Wordcrafters studio, 10 am to 5 pm each day. Thursday-Sunday.
Multi-week classes, 4-8 weeks in length, 1.5-3 hours per week
In-person, online, or hybrid.
Multi-week classes can run any day, between 10 am and 8 pm.
Note: Many of our participants prefer daytime classes Monday-Friday.
The shenanigans our participants are requesting the most right now include:
- Memoir/personal essay/creative nonfiction
- Creative writing basics for developing writers (including grammar and revision)
- Poetry (revision, publishing, forms of poetry)
- Mystery
- Playwriting/screenwriting
- Historical fiction
- Speculative fiction
- Traditional and self-publishing
