Rainbow Reads discusses September’s book, Séance Tea Party by Reimena Lee, Sept. 13.

It’s almost time to return to school, but never fear! Rainbow Reads is here with their book of the month, Séance Tea Party by Reimena Lee. This month’s story is about Lora, a young girl determined to be a kid forever, who re-discovers her old imaginary friend, Alexa–who is actually a ghost that haunts Lora’s house! The two pals quickly rekindle their old friendship, but unfortunately, nothing in life (or spirit) can stay the same forever…

For those new to Rainbow Reads: Rainbow Reads is a young adult LGBTQIA2S+ book group for teens hosted by Ben Lilley and Becca Hawkins of Transponder in conjunction with Wordcrafters and the Eugene Public Library. The group meets monthly to discuss young adult literature for queer teens, by queer authors, and/or about queer teens. All teen readers across the gender and sexuality spectrum are welcome.
