Once there was a seahorse. Her name was Silver. One day she was swimming in a coral reef, when suddenly she saw a pirate ship! Silver swam to it. When she got to the treasure chamber, the most strange thing happened! Out of the mist came a ghost.
“What are you doing here?” asked the ghost.
“I . . . I . . . I was just exploring. I had no idea that it belonged to you,” said Silver.
“OK. And the name’s Bob,” said Bob.
“OK, I’ll just go now, Bob. And the name’s Silver,” said Silver.
“Wait, will you stay pleeease!?” asked Bob.
“OK, I will write a letter to my family and friends so they know where I am,” said Silver.
“Silver, I’ll get you a paper and pen,” said Bob.
Silver wrote the letter, and this is what it said:
Believe it or not, I am staying with Bob the ghost. He lives in the pirate ship in the coral reef.
And that is what it said.
“Now, Bob, how do I send it?” asked Silver.
“Why, you just use magic, see,” said Bob. And with that the letter grew wings and flew away!
Silver was speechless. When she could speak again, she said “So what do you want to do?”
“Well, maybe hide and seek. I love hide and seek,” said Bob.
“OK, I’ll hide and you can seek,” said Silver. Silver went into a treasure chest.
“One, two, three, four, five. Ready or not, here I come,” said Bob. And then he closed his eyes and said, “You are in that treasure chest, Silver.”
“What?! How did you know where I was?” asked Silver.
“MAGIC!!” said Bob.
“Magic again? Seriously?” said Silver.
“Yep, magic,” said Bob.
“Well, OK. Also, I should get going,” said Silver.
“OK, but come back soon, please, please, pleeease, Silver,” said Bob.
“OK, I’ll visit soon,” said Silver.
And guess what? She did. And that is that. And in the end, Silver died and joined Bob as a ghost and they lived happily ever after.
