Don’t know where to start your story? Try using dice to get you going.

Join author Nina Kiriki Hoffman for December’s Youth Write Club, and roll the dice to collect ingredients to create three characters, then roll again to find plot elements.

Using these parameters as your sparks of inspiration, you’ll get to work on writing something magical.

In this two-hour class, you’ll learn new ways of generating ideas for characters, plots and more, and explore a variety of winter holiday happenings, supernatural beings, and strange events!

What is Write Club? Write Club is a monthly workshop that runs during the school year and is offered to youth 9 and up. These workshops offer the opportunity for young writers to explore various genres and topics in writing with local teaching artists throughout the year. Check out all the upcoming workshops here.
